SCOPE OF ROLE:

The overall scope is to plan, manage, promote and participate in building, driving and ensuring achievement in Airport Transit Hotel business sales and others segment so assigned to achieve and excel targets for the products of our company business. Whilst to also contribute and participation in all sales & marketing related activities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Generate revenue and maximize the company’s market share for Transit and Airport Hotels in Malaysia, Singapore & Philippines.
  • Supply critical analysis on the effect of short- and long-range decisions affecting occupancy, average daily rate and rooms profit goals.
  • Conduct market research on trends in the market/industry to ensure the competitiveness of Aerotel business in MY, SG & PH.
  • Act as a liaison between the head quarter and client to achieve maximum returns, taking into consideration the client’s requirements.
  • Ability to analyze data sets to uncover new opportunities to grow Airport transit hotel businesses.
  • Oversee and manage the effectiveness of hotel reservations and sales.
  • Directly responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our OTA/Travel Agent, growing B2B/B2C airport hotel business they provide and securing new business.
  • Receive all revisions to definite and tentative group bookings to prepare revised analysis as needed.
  • Takes ownership in achieving the individual and departmental goals which contribute to the company budget & targets.
  • Handles any client compliments or complaints and ensures proper feedback to management for communication or rectification by department(s) concerned.
  • Share relevant data, information and presentations with internal / external stakeholders to ensure a high level of communication and feedback to optimize performance.
  • Coordinate with senior management on strategic vision and planning for the team.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned by the Management from time to time.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of professional experience in sales and business development.
  • Candidate with sales revenue management skills, knowledge of revenue management system and reservation will be advantage.
  • Proven track record of a self-starter who can think out of the box and autonomously execute projects in hospitality environment.
  • Fast learner adapts well to and is energized by change.
  • Results-oriented strategic thinker, who is assertive and full of initiatives.
