Finance Intern

Job Descriptions

• Prepare monthly full set of accounts, financial and management reports.
• Responsible for the daily accounting functions and month end closing.
• Ensure accuracy of the trial balance and general ledger, including keeping accurate records of fixed assets, accounts payable, inventory and bank accounts.
• Ensure smooth and efficient running of accounting procedure and system.
• Ensure adherence to group policies.
• Assist in implementation of process, procedures and internal control measures to

ensure proper internal control system.

• Monitor all matters in relation to intercompany transaction.
• Liaison with all level management as to ensure timely reports to the

management.

• To liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bank and other statutory bodies to

ensure timely submission of statutory accounts to Government bodies and
bankers.

• Undertake any ad-hoc assignments by the management as and when required.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of financial principles and accounting practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to commit minimum of 6 months.

Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: RM600.00 - RM800.00 per month
