Job Summary:
The Account Executive will be responsible for managing and executing a variety of financial and accounting tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the company's financial activities. This role involves handling payments, managing insurance, ensuring tax compliance, closing accounts, and preparing financial reports and forecasts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and process payments for monthly, quarterly, and yearly expenses, including payments to suppliers, staff claims, and director claims.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the company's insurance policies. Manage renewals, claims, and ensure coverage is adequate for the company's needs.
- Ensure all company taxes are filed and paid on time. Stay updated with tax regulations and ensure compliance with monthly tax obligations.
- Close accounts at the end of each month and year. Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data and resolve any discrepancies.
- Serve as the person in charge of managing the company's banking activities with Maybank. This includes handling transactions, reconciling bank statements, and addressing any banking issues.
- Prepare monthly and yearly accounting reports, ensuring they are accurate, comprehensive, and submitted on time. Provide insights and analysis to assist in decision-making.
- Prepare forecast cash flow statements to assist in financial planning. Monitor cash flow to ensure the company maintains a healthy financial position.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM3,800.00 per month
