  • The role of the program manager will be to work within Engineering department and across the organisation of the company ensuring that new product, components and material are introduced or obsoleted material are depleted in an efficient and effective manner.
  • Coordinate, drive and communicate project plans across the organization, managing projects on daily basis.
  • Ensure all stake holders are aware of their tasks and that they are completed as planned (following overall project targets).
  • Identify and manage program risks or slippages ensuring there are contingency plans are in place and escalate when necessary.
  • Liaise with suppliers and ensure they meet ramp up & committed capacity requirements for any given program.
  • Conduct & coordinate project meetings and CTB & 4M Readiness.
  • Represent the company as the main customer interface on new programs including but not limited to new product introductions, new component/supplier introduction, cost down implementation, design revision requests and stock depletion upon obsolete products/components.
  • Ensure that all products are delivered with QCD targets met.
  • Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
  • Ensure the effective hand-shaking process through the existing NPI process from development right through production, SCM, Quality, Engineering to the customer.
  • Manage the plan, resources, time, and tasks of the NPI cross-functional teams, coordinating the completion of milestones with critical product development program goals and available resources.
  • Lead all NPI builds and commit the schedule to Business units.
  • Supervise the readiness activities, communicating and driving priorities, and resolving technical, resources, and other issues with cross-functional teams to facilitate achieving the overall business goals.

Requirement

  • Graduate mechanical, manufacturing or production engineer - B.Sc., B.Eng. or higher.
  • You will be well versed in the development of engineering projects, including the specification and installation of specialist equipment.
  • Numerate and financially aware, you will be an articulate and persuasive team leader - at ease with internal and external stakeholders alike.
  • You will need good software skills within the MS Office suite of products and MS Project.
  • Previous experience of working in a multicultural environment will be added advantage.

Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM18,000.00 per month
