Job Summary:
The IT Change Analyst coordinates all change activities and initiatives within an organization's
information systems and IT infrastructure. They are the owner of the Change Management process
and responsible for its overall quality, ensuring that requested changes align with business objectives. The IT Change Manager also ensures adherence to the organization's change management policy and procedures regarding IT change requests. They oversee end-to-end
stakeholder involvement in the process and judiciously apply change controls to prevent
unauthorized and disruptive changes from being migrated to production
Responsibilities:
Accepts and reviews all IT Service Request and Change Request .
Ensures adequate information and mandatory documents are supplied for assessment and
approval.
Contributes as Change Management subject matter expert (SME) in support of end user
requests for support and in outward communications to end users
This position requires that the candidate be available for a rotation of coverage as needed in
supporting emergency situations
This position will also be responsible for creating and maintaining configurations items and
knowledge base.
In addition, this position will be responsible for providing and managing the metric
reporting for management reporting.
Coordinate and facilitate the change advisory board (CAB) meetings to review and approve
proposed changes
Ensure that changes are executed with minimal disruption to IT services and business
operations
Support sales and solutions team in responding to RFP’s
Agreeing the book of work with Project Sponsors, Project Managers, other stakeholders
Being involved in all areas of project life cycle analysis, design, User Acceptance Testing
(UAT), providing training and implementation
Delivering documentation to an exceptionally high standard project plans, status reports,
business requirements, current state analysis, UAT plans, UAT scripts management
presentations
Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelors Degree in field of Computer Science or Management Information System.
An advantages if has worked in MNC environment before.
Proven working knowledge and experience in IT Change Management with at least 3 years
in similar role.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead, manage, build and deliver customer
and partner business results through an engineering or professional services team
Strong communication skills to effectively manage the change set
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create vision for the
usage of a product, handle difficult or sensitive situations, adapt to different types and levels
of clients, engage users and motivate new adopters of the technology
Documentum technical competency, possessing a broad knowledge of the product and its
technical architecture
Good speaking and writing skills in English
Certified in ITIL or any Change Management practices.
Good analytical skills, problem solving skills and a team player.
