The Event Sponsorship Partnership Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying, securing, and managing sponsorship partnerships for our events. This role involves developing strategic relationships with corporate partners, negotiating sponsorship agreements, and ensuring the delivery of sponsor benefits. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify potential sponsors that align with event themes and target audiences.
- Develop a robust pipeline of prospective sponsors.
- Create compelling sponsorship packages and proposals that offer value to sponsors.
- Customize packages to meet the specific needs and objectives of each sponsor.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with current and potential sponsors.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, providing regular updates and support.
- Negotiate sponsorship agreements, ensuring terms are beneficial for both the organization and the sponsor..
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure all sponsor commitments are fulfilled.
- Oversee the implementation of sponsor benefits, including branding, on-site activations, and promotional opportunities.
- Monitor and report on the performance and impact of sponsorships.
- Provide detailed post-event reports to sponsors, including metrics and feedback.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform sponsorship strategies.
- Develop and implement innovative strategies to attract and retain sponsors.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, sponsorship, or business development.
- Proven track record of securing and managing high-value sponsorships.
- Strong negotiation and sales skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with high-level corporate partners.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Self-motivated with a strong drive for results.
- Creative thinker with the ability to develop unique sponsorship opportunities.
- Detail-oriented and highly organized.
