Engineer – IT Support (Warehouse)

Job Descriptions:

1. Troubleshooting and Maintenance Servicing:

• Identify and resolve issues related to the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Perform routine maintenance to ensure the smooth functioning of the WMS.

2. WMS Support:

• Act as a primary point of contact for internal and external systems-related groups on WMS projects.
• Provide ongoing support for the Warehouse Management System.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address WMS-related challenges and enhance system performance.

3. Project Liaison:

• Assist in developing implementation plans and timelines for WMS projects.
• Provide regular status reports, exchange relevant information with management and project teams, and ensure project timelines are met.

4. System Configuration and Training:

• Perform basic configurations of the WMS to meet operational requirements.
• Train team members on WMS functionality to enhance overall system proficiency.

5. Collaboration with Warehouse Operations:

• Collaborate with the Warehouse Operations Team to review operating procedures.
• Maximize system efficiencies to streamline warehouse operations.

6. Tier 1 Support and Integration:

• Provide Tier 1 support for the WMS system and its integration with other systems.
• Collaborate with IT and Operations teams to address and resolve integration issues.

Role Requirements:

1. Education:

• Minimum Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.

2. Experience:

• Previous experience in the usage or support of Warehouse Management Systems is advantageous.
• Minimum of 1 year of working experience in supporting WMS or involvement in full cycle implementation of WMS projects.

3. Industry Exposure:

• Exposure or experience in the retail and supply chain environment is a plus.

4. Communication and Interpersonal Skills:

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.

5. Team Collaboration:

• Ability to work with minimum supervision, responsible, innovative, and a team player.

6. Problem-Solving Skills:

• Strong problem-solving and analysis skills.

7. Work Ethics:

• Possess a high standard of work ethics and work quality.

8. Possess own transport and willing to work in warehouse

Job Types: Full-time, Fresh graduate

Pay: Up to RM4,500.00 per month

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
