Job Responsibilities

Position Overview:

The Senior Barista / Barista is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while preparing high-quality coffee and beverages. This role includes overseeing junior baristas, maintaining the café’s standards, and contributing to a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coffee Preparation: Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and espresso beverages while adhering to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and train junior baristas on coffee preparation techniques, equipment operation, and customer service best practices.
  • Quality Control: Monitor the quality of coffee and beverages, ensuring consistency in Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the work area.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain and clean coffee equipment, ensuring it operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
  • Sales and Promotions: Promote new menu items and upsell products to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
