  • Handle all customer inquiries related to air freight shipments via phone, email or in-person.
  • Provide accurate information on air freight rates, services, transit times and any specific shipping requirements.
  • Process air freight bookings, ensuring that all necessary details such as shipment size, weight, destination and delivery requirements are accurately recorded.
  • Prepare and verify air waybills (AWB), shipping documents and customs documentation required for air freight export and import shipments.
  • Ensure all necessary documents are provided to relevant authorities and stakeholders to avoid delays in the shipment process.
  • Coordinate with air freight carriers to ensure timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
  • Tranck and monitor the status of air freight shipments and provide regular updates to customers.
  • Liaise with warehouse, logistics and operations teams to ensure the smooth movement of goods, including the scheduling of shipments and ensuring proper packaging and labelling.
  • Handle any shipment-related issues, such as delays, misrouted cargo or customs clearance problems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external service providers to resolve any operational challenges.
  • Proactively communicate with customers about potential delays and offer alternative solutions where necessary.
  • Build and maintain strong relationship with customers to ensure their continued satisfaction with air freight services.
  • Provide accurate quotations to customers for air freight shipments, including additional services such as warehousing, packaging and insurance.
  • Perform invoicing and ensure that all costs related to shipments are appropriately billed to customers.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Any other duties and responsibilities assigned by the management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in the air freight or logistics industry.
  • Experience with air freight documentation (e.g. air waybills, customs clearance procedures) and an understanding of international shipping regulations.
  • Possess strong understanding of air freight logistics, processes and procedures.
  • Good communication skills and ability to prioritize duties in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
