Responsibilities
- Responsible for the individual budget production achievement and portfolio mix.
- Recruitment and retention of agents.
- Maximizing business support from agents through regular servicing and visitations.
- Expand the branch’s business through multi-channelled marketing (inclusive Motor Franchise and Direct corporate clients)
- Supervise and conduct training for agents.
- Provide marketing and technical support to agents.
- Gather market feedback on competitors’ activities.
- Acceptance of risks in compliance with Underwriting Standing Order.
- Monitor acceptance of risks of agents.
- Monitoring Underwriting results of agents.
- Collection of premiums in compliance with Credit Control Policy.
- Preparation of yearly budgets.
- Resolve and escalate operation issues emanating from agents.
- Managing document flow between agents and company.
Requirements
- Degree in any discipline or professional certification in insurance.
- Two (2) years of working experience in relevant insurance industry is preferred.
- Fresh graduates will also be considered.
- Ability to converse in Mandarin will be an added advantage.
- Effective communication in writing, business presentation and interpersonal communication across various levels of seniority.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel and Power Point)
- Good problem solving skills
- Strong organization, prioritization and multi-tasking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Self-motivated and continuously strive for improvement and enhancement.
