Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Support Business Development (BD) team with preliminary designs, engineering simulation, pre-sales site survey, and technical clarifications.
  • Equipped with solar PV and AC technical knowledge, able to provide technical input and advice to interdepartmental teams (during pre-sales activities and post-sales execution).
  • Take full responsibility carrying out the technical feasibility study of solar PV system including electrical & structural feasibility, then produce post site survey deliverable.
  • In charge in detailed construction designs activities, including necessary engineering calculation, engineering simulation, technical write-up, technical presentations, and drawings production to meet client's requirements, project specifications, and relevant standards.
  • Produce bill of material and bill of quantity to support procurement activities, assist supply chain in filtering suppliers and clarifying technical specifications with suppliers.
  • In charge of as-built drawings updating with input from project team.
  • In charge of testing and commissioning process by providing necessary technical parameters and ensure satisfactory system test results & performance.
  • Support authority documentation, submission, liaison, and approval process.
  • Liaise with stakeholders on specifications, needs & request statement, information collection & confirmation (soft skills).
  • Lead the designers/draftspersons to produce quality designs.

Requirements:

Academic Qualification :

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Experiences :

  • Electrical design experience within a consultancy environment – ideally a minimum of 2 years.
  • Highly effective technical and practical engineering skills and ability to consistently deliver quality, accurate and timely work.
  • Up-to-date knowledge and experience in power distribution systems (415V) (11kV & 33kV is an added advantage).
  • Experience in solar PV system design.
  • Able to demonstrate experience of managing client projects from inception to completion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the team to continue providing an excellent service to our clients.
  • Solid planning and organization skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
