Position Title: Telemarketer
Reports To: Sales Manager / Team Leader
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to potential customers from provided lead lists or databases.
- Introduce, explain, and promote products or services to new customers.
- Engage customers with persuasive communication, addressing queries, and overcoming objections.
- Understand customer needs to tailor the pitch and suggest relevant products or services.
- Identify and qualify leads based on predefined criteria, ensuring they meet the company’s target market.
- Schedule appointments or follow-up calls for further discussion or sales closure.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all calls, leads, and customer interactions using company’s software.
- Update customer contact details, preferences, and follow-up requirements.
- Meet daily, weekly, and monthly call volume and sales targets.
- Report on performance, providing insights into challenges and potential improvements.
- Gather customer feedback to improve product offerings or sales strategies.
- Handle customer objections and provide solutions or escalate as necessary.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards during calls.
- Follow scripts or guidelines while maintaining flexibility for customer-specific needs.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience: Minimum 1-2 years in telemarketing, preferably in sales (experience in renewable energy or solar energy is an added advantage ).
* Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication, with the ability to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
* Customer-Focused: Enthusiastic and empathetic approach to addressing customer needs and concerns.
* Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with solar energy systems or willingness to quickly learn product specifications and benefits (will be an added advantage)
Compensation Structure:
Base Salary: Competitive monthly base salary (varies based on experience and location)
Commission: Uncapped commission based on successful sales closures, appointment bookings, or leads converted.
Incentives: Additional bonuses or rewards for top performers, meeting sales targets, or exceeding performance goals.
