Crawford & Company is seeking a Claims Administration Executive to be based in Malaysia.
What to look forward to
The Claims Administration Executive, based in Malaysia, is responsible for providing exceptional service to customers and business partners in a fast-paced, flexible shift environment. Key responsibilities include timely registration and management of claims, maintaining comprehensive records, and assisting with communications to claimants and insurers.
The successful candidate will document all claims handling processes, manage the claims database, and monitor service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure prompt communication and adherence to company policies. This position reports to the team in Singapore and may involve additional duties as business needs arise, contributing to our commitment to quality service and operational efficiency in claims administration.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-quality service to our customers and business partners in a flexible, fast-paced, shift work environment
- Register all claims within designated timeframe and maintain comprehensive records of claims.
- Assist in issuing reminders to claimants and insurers
- Support Claims Handlers by preparing and distributing emails and letters
- Documents all claims case handling to ensure that case is complete and properly documented
- Maintain and manage the database system for claims handling
- Monitoring of our prescribed SLA’s through providing timely service throughout the life of the claim by meeting all service level agreements, initiating timely contact to all appropriate parties, and responding to incoming inquires according to company policy and procedures
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as new business needs arise
Who are we looking for?
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field
- Written and spoken proficiency in English and Malay is compulsory
- At least 1 year working experience in administration and support role
- Knowledge of insurance industry and relevant regulation is ideal, with knowledge of all aspects of the operations such as policy wordings, end-to-end claims administration, claims adjudication and claims registration functions.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and demonstrate tact and diplomacy while respecting local cultures and customs.
- Strong analytical and decision-making capabilities, enabling accurate analysis of information and problems, and the ability to make sound judgments and timely decisions.
- Proficient in managing a diverse workload and adapting to the evolving business needs of a customer-centric operation; must be flexible in working shifts as required.
