Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify problem statements that will help inform and refine our business and product strategies at all stages.
- Take end-to-end ownership of research initiatives, from defining the scope and planning to executing, analyzing, and presenting findings.
- Generate concise research reports, deliver consumable insights, and elevate insights to the next level to resolve key business queries.
- Initiate research activities, manage cross-functional execution, and drive communication to ensure the highest quality and impactful outcomes.
- Gather insights from relevant industries through desktop research, competitor analysis, expert interviews, and other exploratory research methods.
- Identify and manage external vendors for research projects effectively and efficiently.
- Develop research methodology and best practices across projects, empowering team members.
- Adopt and adapt well-established methods, innovate new methods according to product and business situations.
Requirements:
- Quick learner, capable of grasping knowledge in new domains.
- Able to manage uncertainty and ambiguity, work independently, and juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-driven with strong analytical and systems thinking skills, adept at synthesizing insights rapidly.
- Possess strong communication skills and demonstrate consistent follow-through.
- Fluency in Mandarin is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in psychology, sociology, informatics, HCI, communication, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- More than 3 years' experience in product and design research settings.
- Experience using both qualitative and quantitative research methods, including but not limited to usability testing, focus groups, observational studies, surveys, behavioral analysis, etc
