Job Summary：

The Custom/Importation Specialist at BYD Malaysia Branch is a key player in ensuring the seamless and compliant importation of goods into the country. This role involves working closely with customs authorities, suppliers, and internal teams to manage the customs clearance process efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of customs regulations, importation procedures, and logistics operations.


Responsibilities

:1.Understand and navigate logistics operational procedures to collaborate effectively with the headquarters in China and facilitate the customs clearance process

.2.Coordinate with freight carriers and transport services to optimize delivery routes and schedules

.3.Keep track of all shipments and prepare all necessary documents and payment

s4.Work with the headquarters in China to resolve issues related to the Arrive-at-Port Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) and support the aftersales team with the claims process

.5. Address problems that arise during product shipments, promptly reporting them to the relevant department. Regularly compile and present various logistics management reports to ensure data accuracy

.6. Develop and implement logistics work plans, enhance logistics standards, and improve overall customer satisfaction

Experience & Skil

l:1.Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related fiel

d.2.Proven experience in logistics, customs clearance, transportation, and database managemen

t.3.Proficiency in Excel user skills; Preferably with experience in CRM, SAP, and/or other system
