POSITION SUMMARY:

Physiotherapist is responsible in assessing patients, giving treatments and revaluate the outcomes of each treatments given. Physiotherapist is also responsible in performing daily practice with profesional ethics and follow proper guidelines prepared by the Management of Avisena Healthcare.

This position reports directly to the HEAD OF PHYSIOTHERAPY DEPARTMENT. This position will be stationed at Physiotherapy Department in Avisena Specialist Hospital and will report directly to the Head of Physiotherapy Position.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To ensure high quality rehabilitation services are provided
  • To do detailed assessments and establishments of goals of treatment or all referral patients
  • Emphasize on pre-treatment assessment to gauge patient response to previous therapy session
  • Immediate post treatment assessments to gauge immediate response to therapy
  • To administer the various electrotherapy treatments
  • To design individual exercise programs for individual patients
  • To maintain accurate and up care for patients following their discharge
  • Responsible for routine checks on electrotherapy/ exercise therapy equipment and to inform Head of Services of any faulty equipment.
  • To take reasonable care at workplace for the safety of oneself, others and to comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety, health and environment as required. Report all accidents / incidents and hazard to the superior and complete the Incident Report Form for each accident / incident.
  • To perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2,250.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
