Job Scope:

1. Preparation of Ingredients

  • Measure, weight, and prepare ingredients according to specific recipes and batch requirements.
  • Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients before using them in the production process.

2. Operating Pastry Equipment

  • Use specialized pastry equipment, such as mixers, dough sheeters, ovens, and proofers, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor equipment settings and adjust as necessary to ensure correct temperature, timing, and dough consistency.
  • Clean and sanitize equipment before and after each batch to maintain hygiene standards.

3. Production and Assembly

  • Mix, knead, shape, and portion dough according to specifications, ensuring consistency in size, shape, and weight.
  • Handle dough carefully to maintain texture and quality, avoiding overhandling or under proofing.

4. Quality Control

  • Regularly check pastry products during production to ensure they meet visual and taste standards.
  • Conduct visual inspections for defects, such as uneven shapes or color, and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Maintain consistent product quality by adhering to recipes and production guidelines closely.

5. Documentation and Reporting

  • Document production metrics, such as batch numbers, quantities produced, and any issues encountered during the process.
  • Record any deviations from the production plan and report to supervisors for corrective actions.

6. Hygiene and Safety Compliance

  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), to prevent accidents.
  • Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards, including the proper storage of ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to avoid contamination.

7. Inventory and Stock Management

  • Assist in tracking inventory levels of pastry ingredients and report any shortages.
  • Help with receiving and storing supplies to ensure they are kept in good condition.

8. Collaboration and Communication

  • Work closely with team members, such as quality control and packaging staff, to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors about production goals, issues, or improvements.

9. Continuous Improvement

  • Participate in training sessions or workshops to enhance pastry production skills.
  • Contribute ideas to improve production efficiency or product quality.

Requirements:

  • At least SPM.
  • Malaysian & 18 years old until 40years.
  • Able to work on shift.
  • Have experience working in Food Industry for 1 year.

Working Day:

  • 6 days working per week (Rest day based on scheduled)

Working Hour:

  • 2 shifts (Rotate every 2 weeks)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
