Operations Supervisor / Assistant Supervisor

Responsibilities: • Liaise with drivers or vendor to support internal and external customer on shipments and maintain proper documentations. Responsible for daily operation of transport service as requested by customer • Understand customer requirement, time frame and ensure the smooth facilitation of processing of customer’s shipment within Standard Operating Procedure (SOPs) • Update to internal & external customer the status of shipment and ensure on time delivery • Follow up closely with our assigned vendor if any truck breakdown and update customer the shipment status • Perform tele-marketing to get new enquiry. Quotation subject to HOD’s approval • Sustain good relationships with existing / new customers to ensure customer satisfaction and continues business • Perform other ad-hoc tasks pertaining to operational duties as and when required • Willing to learn and committed to work assigned & self-discipline Requirements: • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma / Degree in Logistic or equivalent • At least 1 years of working experience in factory operations or in arranging transport & logistics / related field is required for this position • Able to work as a team & independently with minimum supervision and with good communication skill • Able to work under pressure and long working hours • Hardworking, Positive attitude, efficiency on work, willing to undertaken challenge for any other responsibilities assigned from time to time • Required skill(s): MS Office & Computer literature • Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia • Applicants must be willing to work in Prai • Possess own transport • Full-Time position(s) are available
