Principal Responsibilities: 1. Safety and Health • To plan and manage all production floor Safety and Health practices to meet group standard and legal requirements. • To enhance Safety and Health awareness amongst production staff. • Continue and maintain proactive systems of Safety and Health management. • To ensure that all statutory requirements on the Safety and Health preservation are strictly conformed to all times within the Production operations. 2. Production Operations • To plan, execute measure and ensure the achievement of all goals and targets as set by the General Manager and Top Management. • To ensure timely production and delivery of the customer’s product which meets or exceeds the customer’s specified specification, statutory requirements and the Company’s standard and cost requirements. • To ensure that processes within the Production operation are operating within the specified standard operating procedures and conditions. • To ensure the necessary corrective and preventive actions are taken whenever non conformity arises from deficiencies within the requirements of the products, processes and quality. • Monitor and control costs of production within budgeted levels and in accordance with manufacturing standard. • Participate in development of plant strategic plan and budget. • Initiative plans and processes which minimize manufacturing costs through effective utilization of manpower, equipments, facilities and materials. • To plan and manage the necessary technical and engineering resources at carrying out continual improvement activities (quality improvement programs) within the Production operations to improve individual process and product capacity. • To ensure that all reports pertaining to the Production operations are produced in a timely manner or as requested by the General Manager or Top Management.
