Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support business, collaborate with different teams, and contribute to the company's strategic objectives. Each day, you will gain knowledge by performing tasks as directed by the program manager/corresponding leader. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and participating
in the local Trainee Program.
The work model for the role is:
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solution Business in rotation to functions of Product Marketing, Sales, Tendering, and Project Management in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
You will be mainly accountable for:
"ABB's Distribution Solutions Division facilitates the efficient and reliable distribution, protection and
control of power by improving electric power quality while strengthening the resilience of the grid. The
Division offers segment-specific products and solutions that largely serve utilities, industry and
infrastructure segments, often providing the requisite medium-voltage link between high-voltage
transmission systems and low-voltage users. With ABB Ability enabled connected solutions at its
core, the offering includes medium-voltage air- and gas-insulated switchgear (1 to 66 kilovolts), indoor
and outdoor circuit breakers, reclosers, fuses, contactors, relays, instrument transformers, sensors,
motor control centers, as well as low-voltage switchgear for the ANSI standard markets."

You will be mainly accountable for:
- Supporting the implementation, delivery, and continuous improvement of products and services within the defined area
- Participating in formal training to develop personal and leadership skills in preparation for future professional roles.
- Delivering the assigned tasks/projects within the assignment period.
- Contributing to diverse social events and team activities and using the chance to establish a broad network within ABB
- Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Computer Engineering or similar with major (recent graduates
- from 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024)
- You are highly skilled in understanding market trends and product life cycles in the electrification business.
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in developing and executing strategic marketing campaigns with 1 to 2 years of experience related to product management Highly adept in using analytical tools and methodologies to track product portfolio performance to derive actionable insights
- You are passionate about generating new ideas and demonstrating ability to innovate and eagerness to improve processes
- You have the ability to collaborate effectively in a team to solve complex problems
- You are at ease communicating in English
