Logistics Executive
Handle full spectrum of Shipping & Logistics Documents ensuring compliance to Import & Export regulation requirement.Coordinate with various department internally on shipping related issue.Monitor shipping status and provide regular updates to all related parties via tele-communications and/or emails to ensure import documents/permit readiness prior to vessel’s arrival.Review shipping & logistics documents (import & export shipment) for contracted terms and obtain relevant approval from Purchaser for remittance of payments.Organize and arrange the dispatching of the shipping documents to shipping agent/forwarding agent for the custom declaration and to facilitate the cargo discharge process.Update weekly shipping schedule. Review and verify all invoices/receipts related to shipment (e.g Invoices from seller, forwarding agent and shipping agent).Give instructions to the forwarding on the delivery address. Monitor and review weight in received at warehouse/buyers and tabulate claims charges to suppliers for short weight claims.Arrange insurer adjuster/independent body/surveyor for cargoes reported/received in damaged condition to mitigate business risk.Prepare the cost of goods, insurance premium, and exchange rate for all shipment.
Candidate must possess at least STPM certificate, Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Logistic & Transportation or equivalent
Possess minimum three (3) years of working experience in warehouse management, preferably in logistic or manufacturing industry.
Preferably Executives specializing in Purchasing/Inventory/Material & Warehouse Management or equivalent
Familiar with the Malaysian custom procedures & shipping documents required.Broad experience in shipping, importing and customs and other matters.Be resourceful, independent with good initiative, inter-personal and problem solving skills.
A mature team player with strong personality, good analytical and communication skills.
