  1. Make sure the webpage is open.

  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Job Overview

The Intern will assist in various aspects of farm management, crop production, and sustainable agricultural practices. This hands-on internship is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience in the agriculture industry, offering exposure to the latest farming techniques, environmental sustainability, and day-to-day operational activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in daily farm operations, including planting, weeding, harvesting, and irrigation management.
  • Monitor and record crop growth, pest control, and soil health.
  • Perform soil testing and analyze nutrient levels for optimal crop production.
  • Support the team in implementing sustainable farming practices.
  • Help with equipment maintenance and ensure proper usage of farming tools and machinery.
  • Participate in farm planning, crop rotation, and scheduling for future planting.
  • Collect and analyze data on crop yield and quality.
  • Assist in research and development projects, contributing to the improvement of agricultural techniques.
  • Work closely with farm managers and team members to execute project tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of farm areas and facilities.
  • Follow safety protocols and ensure the farm environment complies with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Agriculture, Forestry or related.
  • Strong interest in sustainable agriculture and farming practices.
  • Basic understanding of agricultural tools and machinery is a plus.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to outstation.
