Test Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Test Strategy and Planning

Ø Develop and implement testing strategies, covering functional, performance, and security requirements.

Ø Define test plans and prioritize testing tasks in line with project timelines.

Ø Assess risk areas and set testing priorities accordingly.

Team Management

Ø Lead, mentor, and support the QA team, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Ø Oversee resource allocation and scheduling to meet project deadlines.

Ø Drive team growth by identifying skill gaps and providing training as needed.

Execution and Coordination

Ø Coordinate end-to-end testing activities, from test case creation through to defect resolution.

Ø Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure testing aligns with development and deployment plans.

Ø Monitor test execution, track metrics, and communicate progress with stakeholders.

Quality Assurance and Improvement

Ø Define quality standards and benchmarks for testing.

Ø Review testing processes to identify areas for improvement and introduce best practices.

Ø Ensure consistent, detailed documentation for all testing phases and outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

· 5+ years in software testing, with at least 2 years in a test management role.

· Proficiency with testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JIRA, TestRail).

· Strong understanding of SDLC, agile methodologies, and testing processes.

· Experience with automation testing and scripting languages is preferred.

· Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
