1. Human Resource Management
- To provide HR consulting and solutions to the management in the development of the Human Resource System and programs that are aligned with the Company’s business.
- To be actively involved in strategic Human Resource planning with HOD/Managers to meet business and operational needs.
- To keep track of the updated Human Resources – related regulations and practices are compliant with regulatory requirements.
- To identify key HR issues and coordinate resources to ensure efficient delivery of HR products and services.
- To recruit, manage, trainee and develop department staff.
- To delegate and motivate the day-to-day operations of HR functions to subordinates to deliver excellent HR services.
- To advise management in the area of performance management, talent management, career progressions and succession planning.
- To assist department heads to identify employee’s talent and career progression or succession planning for potential employees.
2. Human Resource Administration
- To verify monthly payroll.
- To oversee and ensure the human resource records, information systems and personal files are accurate, well managed, well maintained and keep information private and confidential.
3. Manpower Planning/ Recruitment
- To facilitate and administer personnel transactions covering employee transfer, promotion, change of employment status and separation.
- In charge of the Company’s overall manpower planning from the aspect of employment and deployment of human resources.
4. Employee Relation and Discipline
- To provide counselling to employees and to handle internal grievances. Provide guidance to Manager/HOD/PIC on various HR issues such as counselling, disciplinary actions, possible industrial relation issues, grievances dealing, termination and et. To forecast the severity of compensation of termination and advise management accordingly.
- To represent the Company in the conciliation process at the Labour Department or the Industrial Relations Department. To handle labour and industrial relation disputes.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resource management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in HR and administrative roles, with a focus on staff claims, payroll, and employee relations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of labor laws, statutory regulations, and HR best practices.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing and approving staff claims.
- Proficient in HR management software and office applications (e.g., MS Office, HRIS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Personal Traits:
- High level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle sensitive HR matters.
