KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Set up machines safely and effectively for operators to execute job orders.
Maintain and organize proper storage of spare parts, tools and to keep proper record of work done
Ensure that machines are maintained in good and safe working condition
Repair and clean machine when needed Perform regular preventive maintenance to ensure production capacity & quality
Evaluate machine performance and recommend improvement Inspect machine to identify any replacement , malfunction, repairs and source for replacement parts when needed
Co-ordinate with Operation Manager / Technical Manager for production Planning & Scheduling
Assist in other areas of production where necessary (Operation / loading & Unloading / Packing)
Ability to lead the operations team in overseeing the smooth day-to-day operations.
able to operate forklift and carry out loading & unloading duties
Developing maintenance procedures and ensuring implementation.
Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
Monitor equipment inventory and place orders when necessary.
Keep maintenance logs and report on daily activities.
Prepare monthly update and maintenance report for the management.
Advise the management on maintenance issue in terms of cost and proper check.
Responsible to upkeep the cleanliness of plant and factory by organizing regular spot checks and organize cleaning workers. Take priority on emphasising safety related matters in work place to inspire safety working environment.
15) Able to carry out inventory management duties such as stock count, accurate record-keeping etc

Requirements:

Candidate must possess minimum SPM / certificate
Experience to set up machine
Understanding of mechanical & electrical systems would be preferable
Understanding of maintenance process & methods with working knowledge of common tools & devices
Team player & ability to communicate, interact with all concerned parties
Positive attitude in challenging work environment and pro-active.
Preferably with at least more than 2 years experience in similar capacity or job scope
Able to support facilities operation and maintenance after office hours when needed.
Candidate must be at least able to converse in both Bahasa Malaysia & English. Those who are able converse in Mandarin would be an added advantage
