The role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Procurement Executive to join our team at Global Rail Sdn Bhd in Balakong, Selangor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required to support our manufacturing and logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

Liaising with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and specifications

Identifying and evaluating potential suppliers, negotiating contracts, and managing supplier relationships

Processing and tracking purchase orders, monitoring delivery timelines, and resolving any issues that arise

Maintaining accurate inventory records and forecasting future procurement requirements

Ensuring compliance with the company's procurement policies and procedures

Providing regular reports and analyses on procurement activities and performance

Supporting the continuous improvement of procurement processes and systems

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a procurement or purchasing role, preferably within the manufacturing or logistics industries

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions

Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Proficient in the use of procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems

A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field

Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve shared objectives
