Electrical Fitter

Hengyuan Refining Company Berhad is a leading player in the refining industry, committed to delivering high-quality petroleum products. We are dedicated to operational excellence and environmental responsibility, and we are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Fitter to join our team and contribute to the continued success of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with HRC HSSE standards and requirements.
• Responsible for adhering to the GAME Maintenance Execution process.
• Execute and/or supervise instrument maintenance work as outlined by the planner, scheduler, or area engineer until completion.
• Instrument Maintenance Fitters work with a wide variety of devices to measure and control pressure, flow, temperature, level, vibration, and valves.
• The job involves routine and predictive maintenance tasks. Interact with other disciplines, departments, and contractors regarding maintenance issues.
• Provide support to HRC Electrical Technicians and other disciplines, as required.
• Contribute to and support continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain electrical equipment at the refinery and jetty.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, including the repair, installation, and upgrading of electrical and mechanical equipment, components, tools, and machinery.
• Repair and service field electrical systems, including motors, MCCs, electrical power systems, generators, lighting, hoists, and electrical control systems and panels.
• Update daily maintenance activities in SAP.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrical Fitter or similar role in Oil & Gas Maintenance / Refinery
• Relevant electrical qualifications (e.g., Electrical Fitter/Technician Certification).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and components.
• Ability to read electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools for electrical installation and repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A Certificate (SRP/SPM) level with a minimum of 1 year of working experience in Oil & Gas maintenance is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
