Johnsonville, a leading processed meat company based in Wisconsin, USA, produces a variety of products, including sausages, meatballs, and other protein items for retail, wholesale, and foodservice markets. Their products are available in 50 countries worldwide through retail and foodservice channels.
Since 2020, Johnsonville has owned PrimaBaguz, a Malaysian manufacturer specializing in halal meat products. Established in 1987, PrimaBaguz offers over 100 high-quality halal meat items, such as sausages, cold cuts, meatballs, patties, soups, and sauces. The company primarily serves global foodservice customers, including quick-service restaurants (QSR) and hotels, restaurants, and catering services (HORECA).
This acquisition enhances Johnsonville’s presence in Southeast Asia, particularly in Malaysia. Johnsonville aims to leverage PrimaBaguz's expertise in halal-certified products and plans to make it a hub for halal foods in expanding markets across Asia and the Middle East.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implementation and deliver of all Sales & Distribution strategies of the Company.
- Responsible to lead the team towards achieving the agreed Company's set annual Sales, Market Share and Profitability objectives.
- Experience in Distributor management or General trade and FMCG business is preferable.
- Demonstrate capability to define customer and channel requirements for growth, and extend product portfolio with existing customers
- Work across – functional teams and collaborate across business to facilitate a cohesive approach to the marketing of company products
- Initiate or develop strategies, plans and proposal of effective promotion that meet the customer’s need.
- To perform other related duties from time to time
ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Experienced Account Manager in FMCG or Food Service background.
- Customer development experience in a supervisory role.
- Good understanding of the Malaysian Food Service market.
- Proven track record in sales, preferably in the Food Service Industry.
DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE/SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
- Bachelor’s degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Administration disciplines is preferred.

- 50% of traveling time is required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM8,500.00 - RM10,500.00 per month
