The Team Member is responsible for serving all products with friendly, individualized attention towards each customer. He or She is also responsible for educating customers about our dessert, food and Drink. The Team Member will fulfil any other duties the Outlet Manager, Assistant Manager or Management Trainee assigns and will represent Gula Cakery Group in a professional manner.
Sales and Customers Service
Maintain a profitable and reputable outlet by:
- Accurately bringing sales orders into cash register and counting back charge to customers in courteous and friendly manner.
- Maintaining efficient, friendly service standards at all times.
- Participating in all sales promotions effectively and efficiently.
- Politely answering the telephone & customer questions.
- Reporting all customer complaints to the Manager on duty.
- Responding pro-actively to prevent customer service situations.
- Safely handling all hot and colds drinks during drink preparation.
- Safely handling all hot food and dessert during food preparation
- Verbally receiving and calling back customer orders in a friendly manner.
Store Operations
Maintain an efficient and a smooth operation and work environment by:
- Arranging items on top of chiller, the table and static displays.
- Checking display item on the shelf, to ensure that products are within the expiry period.
- Informing the manager on duty of any operational inconsistencies.
- Replenishing necessary items at the condiments stand.
- Reporting all employee accidents to the manager on duty.
- Restocking shelves when necessary.
- Routinely cleaning the bar area, floor, dine in, BOH area, taking out trash, etc.
- Running errands and when needed.
- Updating the ig story / any posting for catalogue update and other information.
- Working special events as needed.

Product Knowledge
Deliver a consistent quality product by:
- Maintaining the highest quality, consistent product standards.
- Overseeing drink, food, cake , ice cream making and ensuring that only consistent quality drinks and product are served.
- Strictly adhering to SOPs an all drink and food items.
So as to maintain the highest standards of products of the Gula Group stands for.
Store Presentation
Maintains a comfortable, conducive outlet by:
- Ensures that the store is clean & well merchandised.
- Enforces guidelines on music.
- Enforces visual presentation plan & standards.
So as to provide a warm and inviting environment in which our customers can enjoy their world class coffee or food.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Willing to travel to another outlet (if needed).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,299.00 per month
