Job Overview:
As a Visual Merchandiser, you will be responsible for creating and executing innovative visual merchandising strategies across our retail stores, ensuring an appealing and cohesive brands image. This role requires extensive experience in the fashion industry, a strong sense of current trends, and the ability to create displays that inspire and attract customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and play a pivotal role in the training and development of junior team member.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develop and Implement Visual Merchandising Strategies: Design and implement visual merchandising guidelines that reflect the brand's identity and enhance the customer experience.
· Fashion-focused Displays: Create visually stunning in-store displays, mannequins, and window presentations that showcase fashion products and trends, driving customer engagement and increasing sales.
· Seasonal and Thematic Planning: Plan and execute seasonal themes, promotional campaigns, and holiday displays to highlight new collections and key pieces.
· Trend Analysis: Stay informed on global and local fashion trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to ensure displays are current and competitive.
· Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with the Marketing, Buying, and Store Operations teams to ensure alignment on product displays, promotional strategies, and store layouts.
· Store Layout & Space Planning: Optimize store layout and flow to maximize product exposure and create a visually cohesive shopping experience.
· Training & Development: Train, coach, and mentor junior visual merchandiser and store staff to maintain consistent brand standards across all locations.
· Budget Management: Oversee budgets for visual merchandising projects, ensuring materials are cost-effective and within budget.
· Store Visits & Display Audits: Regularly visit stores to review display quality and consistency, ensuring all locations meet visual merchandising standards.
· Customer Experience Enhancement: Leverage visual merchandising to create an engaging shopping environment that enhances the customer journey and increases brand loyalty.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
· Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in visual merchandising, with at least 2 years in retail fashion.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Retail Management, or a related field.
· Fashion Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the fashion industry, including product styling, seasonal trends, and customer preferences.
· Technical Skills:
o Proficiency in visual merchandising software and design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, InDesign).
o Strong skills in mannequin styling, color coordination, and spatial arrangement.
· Creativity & Aesthetics: A creative thinker with a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of aesthetics. Ability to develop innovative displays that align with brand guidelines.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze customer insights to assess the effectiveness of displays and make improvements.
· Project Management: Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
· Leadership & Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a team. Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative approach.
· Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure all displays are executed to perfection and meet brand standards.
· Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and work with stakeholders.
· Flexibility & Travel: Willingness to work on weekends or after hours as needed, with the ability to travel to various store locations within Malaysia.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
