Maintain a professional approach to work including the provision of quality customer service.
· Greet patients and help them feel comfortable in the medical practice
· Carry out reception duties at the front counter
· Able to apply basic patient care
· Prepare and dispense medications
· Assist Doctor during consultation and clinical procedures (where applicable)
· Ensure accuracy of clinical data entry into the computer system
· Handle all transactions including payments and ensure proper documentation
· Perform basic test on patients (eg administering urine test, vision test, etc.)
- Provide professional support to Doctor and administration staff to ensure cohesive and effective service provision.
- Maintain open and effective communication with customers and all staff plus external services providers.
- Provide clinical chair-side assistance to Doctor.
- Customer orientated services - ensuring clients are treated in a manner which respects their cultural beliefs.
- Ensure accurate clinic record charting on Doctor Assists System
- Maintain the smooth running of the clinical surgeries by maintaining clinic stock control, clinic chairs and other equipment.
- Ensure safe use and maintenance of the clinic equipment according to the guidelines, advising the Doctor/HR & Admin team on the condition of the equipment.
- Contribute to the implementation and continuous improvement of quality activity programs.
- Assist other clinic staff in efficient patient throughput in meeting daily targets by assisting the Doctor.
- Adherence to the Occupational Health & Safety (OSHA) policy with issues identified and reported appropriately.
- Health Promotion - participate in oral health promotion and education to patients and parents in a clinical setting.
- Training and Development - demonstrate a willingness to undertake and complete continuing professional education especially in the clinical.
- Quality: to Identify and make recommendations on opportunities to improve processes, workplace health and safety, quality and service delivery outcomes within the clinic.
· Demonstrate an understanding and seek to continually improve standards within the clinic environment.
- Accountable for own performance and continually seeking to improve own practice standards.
· Any other duties as directed by the Doctor and/or Clinic General Manager/Company representative.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM1,500.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
