Customs Manager
Responsible for real-time tracking of import and export declaration laws and regulations;
Responsible for editing and completing the customs declaration procedures for import and export goods;
Responsible for the code classification of import and export goods;
Responsible for the inquiry and update of tariff rates;
Responsible for reviewing documents and declaring to the customs;
Responsible for the processing of certificates of origin;
Responsible for the management of logistics-related and freight forwarding-related business, docking with trailer companies and freight forwarding companies;
Responsible for maintaining relations with relevant government departments such as customs;
Responsible for the training management of employees in this department;
Responsible for handling exceptions in this department;
Comply with company rules and regulations and promote the implementation of company rules and regulations among employees in this department ;
Complete other tasks assigned by superiors;
Qualifications
Bachelor degree or above, familiar with the relevant laws and regulations and practical operations of Malaysia's import and export declarations, familiar with the import and export customs policies and regulations of major customer groups in Southeast Asia, Europe and North America; familiar with the full process business chain of customs declaration and clearance of Chinese-funded manufacturing export-oriented enterprises and factories; more than 2 years of relevant work experience, with work experience in Chinese-funded manufacturing export-oriented enterprises preferred, proficient in office software, identify with the company's corporate culture, have the ability to communicate, coordinate, analyze, solve problems, plan and coordinate, coach and train subordinates; flexible response/learning summary, business negotiation, cost awareness, data analysis, emotional management, stress resistance, good professional ethics and literacy; proficient in three languages (English, Mandarin, Malay), proficient in reading and writing
