  • Address and resolve any discrepancies related to orders, deliveries, invoicing, or quality control in a timely and effective manner.
  • Prepare and present monthly reports on purchasing activities, leveraging data analysis to identify trends, areas for improvement, and efficiency opportunities for the company.
  • Coordinate with inventory stakeholders to assess stock levels and facilitate monthly closing procedures.
  • Evaluate supplier payment terms and devise strategies to improve them.
  • Mitigate risks by sourcing and developing new suppliers for existing materials.
  • Chair purchasing meetings to ensure compliance and make recommendations to management regarding organizational policies.
  • Lead cost-saving initiatives, including supplier negotiations and market evaluations.
  • Review and analyze historical material purchases to optimize purchasing decisions.
  • Execute any additional tasks assigned by management or handle ad-hoc responsibilities as needed.
  • Provide leadership to the Purchasing department, supporting daily operations and ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Perform any other tasks and responsibilities as and when assigned by the superior from time to time.
  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in procurement, preferably within a retail or lifestyle industry.
  • Able to communicate in Mandarin
  • Strong negotiation skills with experience in vendor management and securing favorable terms.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret purchasing data to drive decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
