Safety Manager

Lead and ensure OSH Team is in compliance to its objective, target and program as per ISO45001 management system. Coordinate regular safety, health and environment audits as per ISO45001 by ensuring corrective actions are taken through working with various process owners. Conduct incident investigations and share lessons learned with the project team. Ensure the record is keep for all company safety, guidelines, acident/incident investigation logs and prevention, including the records of the others government statutory requirements and records. Collaborate and build long-term relationship with key stakeholders such as legislator. To notify the director responsible for health and safety if the corrective action agreed after any workplace inspection is not implemented by the arranged date. Propose and coordinate management program for promoting SHE culture at the company. To bring new techniques for improving health, safety and welfare to the attention of the director responsible for health and safety. Ensure the establishment and implementation of process or measuring and monitoring SHE performance. Recruit and hire new safety employees. Enforce compliance to SHE SOPs for all project sites. Advise Project Manager of project sites regarding the applicable SHE standards and laws applicable to operation, SHE risk control and incident prevention, safe system of work, SHE training and communication. To organise and co-ordinate the Safety Health Committee meetings and monthly Safety Inspection. Overall responsible for the planning, implementation, monitoring, maintaining and review of SHE processes. Liase with external parties / regulatory authorities with SHE statutory compliances.
