Job Summary:We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Material Controller to join our team in the metal fabrication industry. You will play a key role in managing materials, ensuring smooth production operations, and you will support material planning to ensure timely and cost-effective material flow throughout the production process. Job Requirements:- Prepare Delivery Orders (DO) to ensure accurate documentation and on-time dispatch of goods.
- Create and Update BOMs based on the specific Sales Order (SO) to ensure all materials and components are accurately listed for production.
- Monitor stock levels, prevent shortages or overstock, and coordinate with purchasing for timely restocking.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure materials are available according to production timelines.
- Analyze historical data to forecast material needs and work with purchasing to ensure availability.
- Work closely with project, production, and purchasing teams to ensure smooth workflow.
Job Requirements:- Minimum SPM/STPM/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
- At least 1 year of experience in material management or inventory control (metal fabrication experience is a plus).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with inventory systems or ERP software is an advantage.
