Our well-established client a Multinational Food Manufacturer is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented candidate for the position of Planning & Material Control Executive to be based in Shah Alam, Selangor, until new plant set up in Bandar Enstek, Negeri Sembilan.

Duties & Responsibilities: -

1. Production Planning - Ensure ISO Procedures on Production Planning is followed:

  • Download the Planned Order List from SAP and check the finished goods stock before the planning process.
  • Schedule production planning by Stock Keeping Unit (SKU), size, material availability and batch size
  • Firm planned order into SAP.
  • Daily check Production Planning file matches the actual production output and adjusts accordingly in Excel and SAP.
  • Contingency production planning for emergency

2. Packaging Material Planning – ensure all materials are at the optimum level: -

  • Generate Material Requirements Planning (MRP) for packaging materials and ensure inventory levels are within set KPIs

3. Prepare for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings by reviewing packaging material inventory

4. Prepare reports on relevant job areas and system updates

5. Ensure compliance to SOP and ISO procedures

6. Responsible for any improvement project as assigned by line manager

Requirements

  • Preferably 1-3 years of experience in production planning and material control in a manufacturing environment
  • Min Degree Holder in related field
  • Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin (required to liaise with China counterpart).
  • Proficiency in using PC – Certain degree of Mastering – Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
