Production Assistant Manager

GENERAL DESCRIPTION A production manager is involved with the planning coordination and control of manufacturing process. They ensure the goods and services are produced efficiently and that the correct amount is produced at the right cost and level of quantity JOB REQUIREMENTS 1. 2. 3. 4. Overseeing the production process and monitor the production schedule. Ensuring the production is cost effective. Organizing workflow to meet specifications and deadlines. Working out the human and material resources needed. (Quarterly review on the overtime payment-report) 5. 6. 7. Drafting a timescale for a job / project (Gantt Chart). Estimating cost and prepare budget. Being responsible for the selection and maintenance of equipment (discussing with relevant department that using the equipment and obtaining approval from top management) 8. Monitoring product standards and implementing quality-control programmes. 9. Making sure all department are coordinating and communicating effectively. 10. Working with all department to implement the company's policies and goals. 11. Ensuring that health and safety guidelines are followed. 12. Ensuring Safety & Health Committee is active in procedure. 13. Supervising and motivating the production team. 14. Reviewing worker's performance (Twice a year assessment). 15. Identify training needs. 16. Ensuring ISO is complied by all the time and by all. 17. To produce Weekly production report. 18. To produce Monthly Efficiency Report. Accountability & Authority • Authority to organize, discipline, direct, coordinate and evaluate production personnel. The COO must approve hiring and firing, the COO must approve new positions and compensation. • Authority to strictly enforce company's policies and procedures applicable to the production department. Authority to ensure company vision and mission is not compromised in carrying out duties. • Authority to enforce the company's safety policies. JOB REQUIREMENT • Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/management/Operations or other related field. • Min 5 years in the manufacturing line, with similar experience. Or if without the education background, min 10 years similar experience. • Drive and set up ISO • Six Sigma • Lean Management • Hirarc
