1.Oversees book sales and distribution relationships and, in conjunction with Japanese Editorial Directors, responsible for performance and profitability of book publishing business. 2.Supervises and works closely with internal Sales & Marketing team members whose responsibilities include management of accounts, account negotiations, retail marketing panning and execution,setting account targets, market reporting, and defining potential growth initiatives. 3.Analyzes POS data, presents trends, and prepares regular reporting on current sales performance. 4.Presents trends and sets strategies for publishing growth initiatives and profitability, 5.Works closely with internal Sales & Marketing and Editorial teams to ensure that information and materials for seasonal sales cycles are presented in full and on time to distributors and retail partners. 6.Works with Finance and Editorial Production to determine initial print runs, reprint quantities, and inventory controls. 7.Works with Licensing and Editorial departments to provide seasonal Sales & Marketing plans and regular results reporting to external licensors. 8.Represents the company to business partners and the public especially Japanese Client 9.In addition to these responsibilities, performs other activities as assigned
