QA Manager (Precision Metal Stamping)

Position Title: QA Manager Industry: Manufacturer (Heatsinks & Slide Rails) Location: Nilai, Negeri Sembilan Job Overview: The QA Manager in a metal precision manufacturing environment is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that all products meet rigorous quality standards and client specifications. This role requires leading the quality assurance team, implementing effective quality control processes, and maintaining adherence to industry standards and certifications. Job Responsibilities: Plans, organises and controls all activities relating to Quality Assurance to maintain quality standards and systems to meet customer requirements. Take control of internal COQ, COPQ and reduce DPPM in customer production lines. Develop and implement inspection procedure / plans. Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of non-conformities relating to the product and process through various designated channels. Ensure that timely and effective actions are taken by various departments to ensure the compliance with requirements of the ISO9001 , ISO14001, OHSAS18000 and IATF 16949 Standards. Administer all the control and calibration of inspection, measuring and test requirements. Administer quality system documentation. Ensure the Company’s QMS quality system is implemented at all levels and maintained continually. Represent the company in all audits of the Quality System by external parties such as customer and certification bodies. To follow up on discrepancies found during internal / external audit are carried out appropriately. Plan and conduct Quality System review to ensure that the system is meeting QMS requirements. Report the performance of the quality system document change. Disposition of non-conforming products. Withholds delivery of non-conformance products until countermeasure is taken. Stopping of production when adverse problems relating to product and process occur until deficiency has been corrected. Set KPI for the staff and monitor their performance/achievement. Lead and train a group of staff to achieve the department's goals and objectives. Appraises and assess staff performance of the department. Perform any other duties assigned by superior from time to time. Adhere and achieve the KPI set by top management. Collaborate with various internal departments to achieve the company's goal. Qualifications & Experiences Needed: Bachelor's Degree in related field. At least 10 years of working experiences in QA, QMS role Quality tools & knowledge (Six Sigma, minitab, & 7QC etc.) Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9001 & ISO 14000. Familiar with QA Lab measuring equipment , eg. CMM, Profile Projector, Tensile test, etc. Knowledge in Autocad and 3D drawing will be a plus point. Good analytical skills towards quality incidents.
