Job Responsibilities:
Supply Planning / Inventory Deployment
- Support distribution planning best practices to identify ideal supply model opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Ensure the target stock level and replenishment model for each country are being deployed according to the product life cycle with its expected service level.
- Ensure activities in the supply network match with demand to the consumption of short-term and long-term capacity.
- Ensure the inventory deployment according to the demand and inventory level in coordination with the demand planning team.
- Allocate the products according to the priorities/ opportunities/ constraints in terms of demand, order management and shipment.
- Work closely with key stakeholders to manage inventory to drive inventory reduction and working capital whilst fulfilling sales plan and marketing-related activities.
- Monitor and execute distribution network, transportation, warehouse, and shipment planning towards lowering distribution and warehouse costs.
- Identify opportunities for product re-balancing in the distribution network between countries.
- Plan and organize new product launches and end-of-life product strategies in cooperation with the sales/ marketing/ demand planning team.
Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
- Participate in Supply/ Demand Review Meeting for regional and global-driven business units.
- Ensure the responsiveness of the supply chain planning process and planning cycle framework.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or any related field.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and trends to make informed decisions about inventory levels, distribution routes, and demand forecasting.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, schedules, and priorities efficiently.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication to coordinate with supply/demand planners, logistics teams, and other stakeholders.
- Problem-solving Skills: Aptitude for identifying issues and developing solutions to ensure smooth distribution operations.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications (at least intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel).
- Experience with SAP or other ERP - DRP/MRP software is preferred.
- Project Management: Skills in planning, executing, and overseeing projects, particularly those related to supply chain improvements and logistics are an added advantage.
- Lean and Six Sigma: Knowledge of these methodologies can help in optimizing processes, reducing waste, and improving overall efficiency is an added advantage.
