Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our team in Port Klang, Malaysia. AHK Malaysia provides services to the mining, metals, refining and recycling industries in a variety of capacities including auditing, supervision, sampling and analysis of metals and minerals derived from the previously mentioned practices.

As an Administrator, you will be responsible for general administrative duties in a commercial laboratory environment in support of our client’s requirements. This is a hands-on role requiring a practical, pragmatic and flexible approach, in all aspects, to ensure successful team working.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE


Essential


  • Good client facing skills, presenting a professional image and able to develop sound business relationships.
  • Communication: Good interpersonal skills able to communicate (verbally/written) and liaise professionally at all levels within and outside the Company.
  • A team player with dignity and due respect for fellow colleagues.
  • A good understanding of quality of service and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a quality service.

  • IT Literate: Competence with standard Microsoft software packages and competent in preparing management information and reports.
  • Experience within a customer service or customer facing environment.
  • Able to prepare overall and individual commodity inspection services.
  • Good commercial understanding and appreciation of factors involved in delivering a profitable service.
  • Working knowledge of inspection and supervision.
  • Working knowledge of quality services and the factors involved in delivering a quality service.
  • Working knowledge of profit and loss systems and the factors involved in delivering a profitable service.

Required Work Experience

  • Experience within a customer service or customer facing environment.

Required Qualifications


  • Diploma level and/or above.
  • Knowledge of a second language is highly desirable (preferably knowledge of Mandarin).
