Key Responsibilities: Building to manage: Dewan Masjid area Shah Alam Facility Management: • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the event hall, including scheduling, staffing, and logistics for events. • Coordinate with event organizers to ensure their needs are met and that events run smoothly. • Maintain a clean and welcoming environment for guests, including restrooms, lobbies, common and outdoor landscape areas. Building Maintenance: • Conduct regular inspections of the building to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards. Including architectural, civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical scope of work. • Develop and implement a preventative maintenance program to address issues before they escalate. • Coordinate repairs and renovations as necessary, working with contractors and vendors to ensure timely completion. • Monitor heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems to ensure optimal performance. • Manage the upkeep of landscaping and outdoor areas surrounding the event hall. • If the item/part/equipment/etc requires major works and is deemed replacement, a report and best suggestion are required to be made and handed over to the building owner. Safety and Security: • Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. • Implement security measures to protect the facility and its occupants during events. • Respond promptly to emergencies and address any security concerns that may arise. Budget Management: • Develop and manage the budget for building maintenance and operations. • Identify cost-saving opportunities and efficiencies to optimize resource allocation. Team Leadership: • Supervise a team of maintenance staff, including hiring, training, and performance management. • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and accountability.
