- Handle full set of accounts and responsible for month-end/year-end financial closing activities, journal postings, and prompt submission of relevant reports to the Management.
- Preparation of forecast and analytics of data for management reporting.
- Assist in monitoring and planning cash flows.
- Liaise with customers, suppliers, bankers, solicitors, company secretary, and other regulatory authorities on respective activities.
- Prepare and liaise closely with auditors and tax consultants for the annual audit, audit analysis, and submission of tax returns.
- Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures as well as initiate corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies in the preparation and maintenance of financial reports and records.
- Knowledge and experience in consolidation (consol) of financial statements, including the elimination of intra-group transactions and balances for group reporting.
- Ensure the accurate consolidation of financial information across subsidiaries for group reporting and prepare consolidated financial statements as per accounting standards.
- Required language(s): English, Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia.
- Candidate must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting or Finance or Partial Professional Accounting Qualification (ACCA, CIMA).
- Minimum 4-5 years of relevant working experience is required for this position.
- Advanced MS Excel and good analytical skills; experience in SAP B1 system will be an added advantage.
