SENIOR JIG DESIGN & TURNING SPECIALIST

POSITION: SENIOR JIG DESIGN & TURNING SPECIALIST LITAI TITAN SDN. BHD. seeks an SENIOR JIG DESIGN & TURNING SPECIALIST to help design test our planned upcoming projects with crate dependable, hardworking products benefitting out company’s development • Creating custom jigs and fixtures for precise machining and assembly. • Setting up and operating turning machines for high-precision parts production. • Utilizing software to design turning tools and jigs. • Improving turning processes and tool designs for efficiency and accuracy. • Ensuring that tools meet industry standards and part specifications. • Responsible to setup and operate turning Machine Program. • Reads, understands, and creates specification sheets, blue prints, work instructions, and routings. • Lead and guide a group of turning machine operators on machining activities. • Manage projects based on customer specifications and requirements. • Supervises set-up and machining during program development and records data. • Assemble and design jigs and tools using schematics/drawings and devising work-holding solutions that reduce set-up times. • Determining the methods and the sequencing of operations and ensuring that jigs and tools function with proper angles/contours and create strategies for ramp up and scale up the production. • Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using measuring instruments. • Preparing process sheets/maps and standard operating procedures and verifying its accuracy and quality in accordance with control procedures. • Determining the methods and the sequencing of operations and ensuring that jigs and tools function with proper angles/contours and create strategies for ramp up and scale up the production. • Observe machine operation to verify accuracy of machine settings and to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, using measuring instruments. • Preparing process sheets/maps and standard operating procedures and verifying its accuracy and quality in accordance with control procedures. Requirements The required skills for the position SENIOR JIG DESIGN & TURNING SPECIALIST are: • Experience in jig design & turning. • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. • Adhere to safety and quality policies. • Effective problem-solving abilities. • Keep maintenance data and report on daily activities. • Candidate must possess relevant education certification
