Job Scope of an Account Assistant
1. Data Entry and Record Keeping:
- Enter financial transactions into accounting software.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records and files.
- Update and manage spreadsheets and databases.
2. Accounts Payable:
- Process invoices and ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers.
- Open Do for customer
- Verify accuracy of invoices against purchase orders and receipts.
- Assist in reconciling accounts payable discrepancies.
3. Accounts Receivable:
- Generate and send out invoices to clients.
- Track payments and follow up on overdue accounts.
- Assist in reconciliations of accounts receivable.
4. Bank Reconciliation:
- Assist in reconciling bank statements with the company’s financial records.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data.
5. Communication:
- Liaise with other departments regarding financial matters.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, vendors, and internal teams.
9. Administrative Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the accounting team.
- Assist in maintaining accounting records and documentation.
Skills Required

- • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- • Attention to detail and accuracy.
- • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- • Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
