Qualifications

  • Education: Diploma in Culinary Arts, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years in a leadership role within a kitchen or food production environment.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Tech Proficiency: Familiar with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensure quality, consistency, and compliance in all operations.

Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership and Team Management

  • Lead and supervise the central kitchen team, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Manage shift schedules and ensure sufficient staffing for daily operations.
  • Provide training and mentorship to staff to maintain high standards and productivity.

Kitchen Operations

  • Oversee the production process, ensuring food items are prepared according to standard recipes and quality guidelines.
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is in good condition and report any maintenance needs.
  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Inventory and Stock Management

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for production.
  • Conduct regular stocktakes and update records to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team for timely ordering and replenishment of ingredients and supplies.

Logistics and Coordination

  • Supervise the packaging and delivery process to outlets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Work closely with outlet managers to address supply and quality concerns.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed operational reports to support decision-making.

Administrative Tasks

  • Monitor and maintain kitchen cost efficiency, reducing wastage and improving processes.
  • Prepare schedules, production lists, and delivery plans to streamline operations.
  • Act as a liaison between the central kitchen and outlet teams to ensure alignment.
