DRIVER LORRY

General Summary

The Lorry Driver is responsible for transporting raw materials, finished goods, and supplies using company lorries to ensure timely and secure delivery. This role involves maintaining the lorry, collecting payments (if applicable), ensuring proper documentation, and adhering to all traffic, safety, and company regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely transport goods, raw materials, and products to designated locations as per delivery schedules.
• Assist with loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling to avoid damage.
• Verify delivery orders and ensure accurate quantities are delivered to customers or internal departments.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on the lorry, including oil, tires, brakes, and lights.
• Ensure the lorry is kept clean and sanitized, especially for transporting food-grade products.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery details.
• Complete and submit all delivery and payment documentation to the relevant department.
• Report delays, traffic issues, or other incidents that may affect delivery schedules.
• Coordinate with the Operations team to confirm delivery details and resolve any discrepancies.
• Communicate with customers to confirm delivery times or address concerns.
• Collaborate with the warehouse and store teams for smooth loading and unloading processes.

Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• At least 1-2 years of experience as a lorry driver in logistics or a similar role.
• Possess a valid lorry driving license (e.g., GDL, E-class).
• Good knowledge of routes, traffic laws, and transportation regulations.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance.
• Ability to handle payments and documentation accurately.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
