Overview
Responsible for overseeing the operations team, ensuring the quality of care services, and maintaining strict discipline among staff. Supervise property maintenance, organize tasks, and manage the performance of Operations Assistants, cleaners, and maintenance staff. Prioritize residents' welfare by safeguarding their health and safety, while reporting daily work progress to the Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead a team providing services to the hostel.
  • Conduct regular audits and checks to monitor staff compliance with hostel rules and regulations, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to the management.
  • Ensure all residents experience a comfortable and safe stay at the hostel.
  • Supervise operations to ensure proper adherence to SOPs, establish work quality standards, and develop methods to enhance team performance.
  • Conduct frequent audits to maintain quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Act 446, government directives, and all relevant legislation while maintaining necessary records as required.
  • Train and manage the team to deliver and maintain high-quality services for residents and customers.
  • Take reasonable steps to ensure the health, safety, and security of residents and visitors at all times.
  • Review and analyze the results of the hostel's monthly inspections.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or equivalent in hospitality, management, or related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations or team supervision.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Good communication and organizational abilities.
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and property maintenance.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Professional, reliable, and able to follow policies.
  • Basic computer skills for reporting and record-keeping.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
