Job Responsibilities: Responsible for the Group’s Tourism & Hospitality division's related marketing and public relations initiatives. Responsible to plan, organize and coordinate the Tourism & Hospitality division's related marketing and public relations initiatives. This will include, but is not limited, to core areas such as creating brand awareness, PR, coordinating events/functions, coordinating marketing and PR activities with new/potential agents/business partners, canvassing/developing new customers/business partners, market intelligence, achieving objectives, and any related marketing/PR initiatives. Responding to requests for information releases or press conferences from the media. Designated as the spokesperson or source of information. Establishing and maintaining relationships with consumers, community, employees, and public interest groups. Planning or directing the development of programs to maintain favorable public views of the organization's agenda and accomplishments. Studying the organization's objectives, promotional policies, and needs to build public relations strategies that influence public opinion and promote products, ideas, and services. Conferring with managers to identify trends and group interests and providing advice on business decisions. PRIOR Marketing / Public Relations EXPERIENCE IN THE TOURISM & HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY IS ESSENTIAL. Requirements: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in PR, Marketing or equivalent. At least 5 years of public relations experience in the Tourism & Hospitality industry is required for this position.
