Competencies and Skills • Certification in PMP, SCRUM Master, PRINCE2 and/or Agile • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or related discipline • Minimum 6 years as IT Project Manager in large service or vendor-based organization or established banks/ financial institutions • Track record of delivering end-to-end enterprise, large scale and/or cross-functional/ multi projects in dynamic and complex environment • Experience in working with senior leaders in the organization, as well • as external partners (e.g. IT vendors) • Experience working in a collaborative multi-disciplinary and matrixed environment Key Responsibilities • Develop and manage all aspects of end-to-end project delivery, starting from project scoping and planning, financial and resource management, risk management, quality control, project execution, deployment and handover to post-deployment stabilisation and BAU mode. • Establish project team based on the project charter and conduct kick off meeting, PWC meeting and PSC meeting. • Coordinate review process on project deliverables and obtain the necessary sign off (SoW, if vendor involved, BRD, FSD, Test Plan and Test cases). • Provide input, review, advice and planning for integration, conversion, testing, data migration, deployment and training strategies based on technical and business dependencies. • Monitor and control projects by ensuring deliverables meet the business and technical requirements and quality control e.g. defect logs analysis and improvements. • Build and manage relationships with cross functional team heads, business stakeholders and program sponsors and ensure alignment of understanding and expectations for smooth and successful delivery of projects. • Work and coordinate across multiple relevant teams within the unit and Group Technology (GT) such as Business Analyst, Development, Testing, Infrastructure and others to successfully deliver projects within agreed scope, budget and timeline. • Apply established project management methods, tools, standards and project execution processes throughout the project implementation. • Prepare project closure and relevant documentation reviews in line with the handover process. • Manage, prepare, track and record all project related documents including changes, updates, minutes, approval and sign-off. • Manage vendor selection and relationship including contract negotiation and management and liaise with them for alignment, performance monitoring and coordination of the delivery of project deliverables and technical related activities. • Prepare and provide regular periodical report on overall project updates, mitigation plan and escalation of project risks and issues, project budget and spending, resource utilisation and timeline and project related matters to relevant stakeholders. • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project deliverables. • Analyse and manage the impacts, interfaces and inter-dependencies of different projects. • Solve business and technical problems and propose alternatives or solutions. • Ensure that all assigned projects adhere to CIMB Group’s established project and delivery management and SDLC methodology, processes and standards, Enterprise Architecture standards, IT governance and policies including Information Security, Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity Planning framework, applicable regulatory requirements and auditors. • Stay abreast of new project management techniques and tools and proactively contribute to the improvement of the overall project management processes. • Actively conduct review with the team to monitor projects progress, issues and risks associated with projects and provide guidance and direction for alternatives or solutions to meet and achieve the expected project deliverables. 19. Provide leadership and manage performance of project resources including internal and external parties who are involved in the execution of the projects. Technical/Functional skills • Proven project domain competency; knowledge of project management techniques and tools. • Have at least 5 years of Banking IT projects. • Have completed 2 full terms of Test manager/lead role in IT projects. • Able to work on concurrent projects activities. • Able to handle and manage stakeholders in SIT/UAT test planning, test strategy development, Test case preparation, test resource planning, test execution progress tracking, defects management • Prepare test dashboard report and lead defects review meeting with vendor, business and IT teams • Able to work with vendor with off-site development team • Monitor and track project delivery progress. • Actively participate in issue management and resolve issues on time. • Monitor and ensure project delivery timeline on track. • Monitor and control Project Budget & expenses. • Analyze and manage project risk. • Ensure project adhere to GPLC governance and necessary documentation.
